Lorenzo Musetti
Lorenzo Musetti (; born 3 March 2002) is an Italian professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 6, achieved on 9 June 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 142, achieved on 1 April 2024. Musetti has won two ATP Tour singles titles, and has reached two major semifinals at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships and the 2025 French Open. He is currently the No. 2 Italian. Representing his country, Musetti won the bronze medal in men's singles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He was part of the Italy national team that won the Davis Cup in 2023 and 2024. The PIF ATP Rankings (previously known as the Pepperstone ATP Rankings) are the merit-based method used by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for determining the qualification for entry as well as the seeding of players in all singles and doubles tournaments. The first rankings for singles were published on 23 August 1973 while the doubles players were ranked for the first time on 1 March 1976. Ranking points are awarded according to the stage of tournament reached, and the prestige of the tournament, with the four Grand Slam tournaments awarding the most points.
